Real estate agent Brit shot dead by tenant evicted while she was out looking

A real estate agent in BRITISH is said to have been fatally shot by a tenant who was evicted from her home while she was out viewing with new tenants.

Sara Trost, 40, from Southend, Essex, is believed to have been gunned down while she was sitting idle in a car parked outside her property in Coral Springs, Miami on Thursday.

Police believe the victim was shot dead by a disgruntled former tenant of the home, Raymond Reese, 51, who was arrested later that same day.

The alarm was first raised at the three-bedroom property around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.

But despite the best efforts of paramedics, the mother of one child was pronounced dead at the scene.

Coral Springs Police Department confirmed in a statement: “When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle with a woman in the driver’s seat suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

“Despite immediate medical treatment, the driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene and was pronounced dead.”

Shortly after the incident, Mr. Reese was taken into custody because neighbors later claimed he was upset after being evicted from his $515,000 home.

Police did not release any further details, but said that no further suspects were being sought at this time.

Before her death, she spoke out on social media about gun violence – fueled by a deadly 2018 shooting in nearby Parkland, where 17 people were killed.

She wrote on Facebook: “Australia has had an incident. One, they FIXED IT. The UK had ONE incident. They FIXED it. How?

“With action. Use their brains. It is not difficult for both countries to find a workable and successful solution.

“Here in America, we seem to start and stop at ‘thoughts and prayers.’ She added.

Police have now confirmed that her death is still under investigation and the suspect will remain in custody.

No test date has been set.
