Razzies 2022: LeBron James, ‘Diana: The Musical’ ‘Wins’ Worst Award of the Year at 42nd Annual Golden Raspberry Awards

This year is all about Diana: The Musical, the universally despised Netflix flop that also had a very short and equally despised run on Broadway. The “winner” for Worst Picture nearly swept the Razzies, and also scored Worst Supporting Actress, Screenplay, Director and Actress for Diana-playing Jeanna de Waal.
LeBron James’ first outing as a leading man was a flop according to Razzies voters, which named him Worst Actor for Space Jam: A New Legacy, in which he played himself. The Razzies didn’t buy his chemistry with Bugs Bunny either — James also won Worst Screen Pairing with every WarnerMedia character he starred alongside. (WarnerMedia is CNN’s parent company.)
Jared Leto won (lost?) Worst Supporting Actor for his prosthetic performance in House of Gucci, a role for which he was once credited with an Oscar nomination. November 2021 was a different time. But current Oscar-winning actor Will Smith was awarded the Razzie Redeemer for reversing several years of less successful roles with his performance in King Richard.

Read on for the full list of Razzie’s “winners.”
