BALTIMORE (WJZ) – Special Team Baltimore Ravens ace Anthony Levine Sr. will retire after a decade with the team.
The Ravens say Levine will move on to assistant scouting and coaching for the club this season.
Coach John Harbaugh said in a statement: “Strong, intelligent, enduring and dependable, Anthony embodies the best of what it means to be a Crow. “A relentless competitor and a person of high caliber, Anthony has given his all for the team. He’s worked tirelessly to become one of the NFL’s best exceptional players, and he can always be counted on to contribute at a high level to the defense – no matter how much he’s loved. Where is the bridge closed?
Harbaugh also called Levine “a great leader of men” who helped his teammates progress.
“It’s been a privilege for coach Anthony over the last 10 years, and I am forever grateful to call him a friend,” he said.
