Putting ice between your breasts can help you fall asleep


If you’re struggling to get a good night’s sleep, you’ve probably tried a few remedies to improve the quality of your sleep.

But one expert has come up with a unique way to ensure you have a satisfying nap — and it involves placing an ice pack between your breasts.

Alan Mendell, aka Motivational Doc, recorded it tick tock to reveal the unusual hack and explain that putting something cold on your torso helps activate the “vagus nerve”.

“It will help calm you down,” he added.

“So take an ice pack and put it on your chest.

“It relieves your body and sends you to sleep.”

Writing across the top of the video, he explained, “Ice cream between the boobs makes you sleep.”

He also advised wrapping the ice pack in a cloth to avoid nasty freeze burns and using it for up to 15 minutes.

People quickly took to the comments section to comment on Dr. comment on Mandell’s proposal.

“It helps my panic attacks and hot flashes 100%,” one person wrote.

While another added: “Just started this last week and it’s working.

“I’ve had trouble falling asleep since I was 12. Thanks.”

“I love sleeping cold, I HATE it when I’m hot when I sleep. I’m trying,” wrote a third.

“I put an ice pack on my neck when I’m nauseous,” read another.

Others insisted they were less than convinced by the hack, with one writing, “Did it 3 nights in a row…DID NOT WORK.”
