Pussy Riot member labeled as ‘Foreign agent’ by Russia – Billboard

Russian authorities on Thursday (December 30) appointed a member of the Pussy Riot punk band, a satirist and an art collector as “foreign agents”, part of an effort to prevent dissent.

The Ministry of Justice has applied this trademark to Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, a Pussy Riot member who is widely known for his join a rally in 2012 inside the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow, after which she spent almost two years in prison.
