Ukraine’s Defense Ministry has used rapper Pusha T’s lyrics to celebrate his victories over Russia in the ongoing war.
On Wednesday (September 7), Ukraine’s ministry shared a tweet that included a table of “enemy total combat losses from February 24 to September 7.”
In the caption, the official account added the lyrics from Pusha T’s 2013 track “Numbers On The Board.”
“I put numbers on the plaques,” the ministry wrote, tagging Pusha T’s Twitter name.
The rapper was quick to respond to the tweet, writing, “Great taste in music for the win…”
The chart released by Ukraine shows that Vladimir Putin’s Russian forces have suffered significant casualties since invading Ukraine in February.
A total of 50,610 Russian forces were eliminated, along with 2,097 tanks, 4,520 armored fighting vehicles, 1,194 artillery units, 300 rocket launcher systems, 156 air defense systems, 237 military jets, 880 drones and many other casualties.
Russia is now six months into its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24, when Putin announced what he called a “military special operation” in a televised address to his citizens.
