PSG wore yellow football kits during the win over Monaco to celebrate star Lionel Messi winning the SEVENTH Ballon d’Or

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN beat rivals Monaco in a special YELLOW kit to pay tribute to Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.
Kylian Mbappe scored twice at the Parc des Princes as PSG extended the Ligue 1 lead to 13 points.
And they did so in ruffled shirts to mark their talismans SEVENTH rated as the best player in the world.
The special kit includes PSG’s iconic blue home jersey with numbers and gold lettering on the back.
Speaking after the win, Mbappe said: “Maybe it wasn’t brilliant but we killed it in the first half.
“I can’t be sentimental. I love to play and I like to score goals.”
Mbappe’s double made it his tenth goal in ten games against his former club.
Last month, Messi surpassed Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski to claim his record-spanning victory at the awards ceremony in Paris last month.

He told PSG’s website at the time: “I’m really proud to have won the French Ballon d’Or again. It’s hard to believe to have won it for the seventh time.
“I want to thank my family, friends and everyone who has followed and supported me, because without them I wouldn’t have been able to do it.”

The Polish striker has scored 27 goals in 23 appearances for Bayern this season.
But his efforts were only enough to finish second in the poll, with Chelsea star Jorginho in third.

The Argentinian great is yet to achieve any success in Ligue 1, scoring just one goal in nine appearances so far.
But the 34-year-old superstar had 5 goals in the Champions League when PSG passed the round of 16.
