OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER beamed with pride as he watched his daughter Karna win the WSL Academy League title with the Manchester United women’s youth team.
Since then, Solskjaer has had a little more time at his disposal was sacked as Man United boss in November last year.
The 49-year-old is now playing an active role in his daughter’s career – and was spotted taking her to practice at Carrington in February.
He was also there with his wife Silje to cheer on Karna the 19-year-old made her debut for the United Women senior team in January.
And the retired Norwegian striker’s support paid off as Karna and co defeated Chelsea Under-21s 6-2 on aggregate to lift the WSL Academy League title.
The Red Devils young ladies had already won the Northern Division title, while the Blues won the Southern Edition of the league.
The opponents then met in an epic league playoff which United won 3-1 over both legs, which concluded on Wednesday.
Solskjaer was spotted in the Altrincham stands next to his spouse Silje with a huge grin on his face as the game wrapped up.
It was the second time this year that Solskjaer had witnessed his descendants win silverware.
Karna helped United win the WSL Academy Cup in March with a 2-1 win over Birmingham.
The youngster will rival her father’s impressive trophy haul of 14 at United in no time if she continues to win prizes.
But Solskjaer hasn’t had the same luck as the United boss and was sacked after three years after a trophy-less spell.
However, one was given to him whopping £7.5million compensation package to soften the blow.
He has kept a low profile since his acrimonious exit from the club last year.
