Prosecution Level Defendant’s Key Witness With 1 Skillful Question

The closely watched Ghislaine Maxwell trial continued in New York on Thursday, with attorneys for the alleged sex trafficker and ex-girlfriend of the late Jeffrey Epstein calling for witnesses to they denied the prosecution’s charges last week.

Maxwell, a British social site who famously dated notorious pedophile, has long been accused of recruiting underage girls for Epstein to sexually abuse and has even been accused of abusing some of his victims with intent.

The first witness to defend her was Cimberly Espinosa, a former assistant of Maxwell who worked at Epstein’s office in New York.

Espinosa spoke fondly of Maxwell, who the defense was trying to paint as a victim, rather than as an accomplice, to Epstein.

“I have a lot of respect for Ghislaine,” Espinosa said, according to Guardians. “I admire her so much, and I really learned a lot from her.”

She also described Epstein, who had a previous conviction for soliciting a minor for sex when he died is awaiting trial on a federal child sex trafficking charge in 2019, as a “giver” and “kind.”

The terms she considers Epstein altruistic appear to be purely financial related.

“He was so generous, and I always knew he had to Donate to charities and just a nice person,” Espinosa said, adding that Epstein also “paid a personal trainer” for her and even booked her massages – a major means of passing through. that Maxwell and Epstein’s accusers say they were abused while on assignment. with giving an elderly man a “massage.”

Do you think Ghislaine Maxwell is guilty?

Espinosa also said she can “attribute my career right now as an executive assistant to what I’ve learned supporting Ghislaine.”

She worked for Maxwell from 1996 to 2002, and one of the big assignments they took on was to establish Epstein’s Island in the US Virgin Islands, Little St. James (or “Pedo Island” or “Little St. Jeff’s” depending on who you ask), part of which includes overseeing that additional palm trees and sand are shipped in to complete the landscape.

Delicious Recipes.

The prosecution, however, did not miss a beat.

When it was their turn to question Espinosa, they managed to exploit a major flaw in her testimony on Maxwell’s part.

You see, four witnesses called by the state alleging sexual abuse in Maxwell and/or Epstein’s part say they were abused at Maxwell’s London Mansion or Epstein’s New Mexico ranch and Palm Beach residence.

Espinosa was specifically asked by the defense about “Jane,” who testified? that she was repeatedly sexually abused by a notorious sex offender in his Palm Beach mansion, where she was paid to massage him when she was 14 years old.

“I was pretty much abused every time I went to his house, and it all started to stay the same after a while – whether it was just him or other women involved, or me and Jeffrey and Ghislaine, it’s all starting to sound the same,” Jane told jurors in her own testimony earlier this month.

Espinosa, according to her testimony, thought Jane “looked 18” when she saw the young girl at Epstein’s office. At the time, she testified, Jane’s mother told her that “Jane is Jeffrey’s goddaughter.”

“I think it was a love relationship,” Espinosa testified.

* Creepy. *

This is where prosecutors find weak connections, like The Independent reported.

When it was her turn to question the witness, they asked her a simple question.

“You have never been to Palm Beach, right?”

“No,” Espinosa replied.

“There are no further questions,” the prosecutor said.

I don’t imagine any is necessary at this point.

There are no accusations, that I know of, that Epstein abused girls in New York office, as well as Espinosa and Maxwell preparing for Little St. James is available to the financier and his wealthy friends.

The abuse that Jane testified she suffered at the hands of Epstein, under the direction and observation of Maxwell, occurred in Palm Beach, where Espinosa had never worked for the once notorious couple.

All the defense is trying to prove at this point is something already Well established all: Epstein and Maxwell worked hard to keep “help” insulated from their terrible problems.

Espinosa may have enjoyed the lavish gifts Epstein gave her and her boss’ little girl training program she received from Maxwell, but she has nothing substantial to offer personally contradict or refute anything brought by the prosecution.
