Priti Patel slams “shameful” colleagues for blocking new protest laws

PRITI Patel has blasted “shameful” colleagues blocking a bid to prevent mass protests from disrupting life.
The Minister of the Interior warned that they are supporting actions that are endangering lives and vowed: “We are not giving up on this.”
She lashed out at legislation aimed at stopping it Climate change extremists sticking to streets were watered down by “pests” in the Lords.
Work colleagues accused her of trying to quell protests.
But she said her actions are aimed at upholding freedom of expression and the right to travel to and from work.
She said: “We are staunch defenders of freedom.
“Those who want to nullify our reforms support the actions of people aimed at disrupting workers’ lives.
“They have assisted people in chaining themselves to tankers and risking lives.”

The planned changes were worked out after Demos stopped ambulances taking people to the hospital.
But colleagues want to limit them to main roads.
Ms Patel told The Sun on Sunday: “It’s shameful.
“The Lords should take a good look at themselves.
“They are unelected and do not represent the British people at all.
“By blocking these reforms, they are siding with the protesters.”

EU is so right, Priti
PRITI Patel’s controversial policy of sending asylum seekers to Rwanda has been hailed as a blueprint for Europe.
Denmark’s Immigration Minister Mattius Tesfaye welcomed the home minister’s £120m plan and is aiming for similar deals.
He said: “I hope that more European countries will support the vision of tackling irregular migration through committed partnerships with countries outside Europe.”
Home Office officials say they have “the deepest shame” over the plan.
