Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly visited the Queen on a secret rendezvous at Windsor Castle on their way to a sporting event for wounded veterans.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also met Prince Charles while stopping in the UK on their way to The Hague to attend the Invictus Games, according to the BBC.
Harry and Meghan’s visit comes two years after their high-profile split from the royal family and relocation to the Hollywood Hills to pursue entertainment ventures.
Harry has not been in the country since July and Meghan has been absent since the couple officially stepped back from official royal duties in January 2020.
The Duke founded the Invictus Games taking place in the Netherlands this weekend.
Harry has complained about the lack of security at Buckingham Palace, which is said to have prevented him from returning home due to threats against his family.
The sit-down with the Queen and Prince Charles comes after Harry dished the dirt to the royal family during a bombshell interview with Oprah last year.
The Sussexes, meanwhile, may have escaped a smelly situation in California after a foul odor reportedly flooded their $14.65 million nine-bedroom, 19-bathroom mansion.
Neighbors in the upscale community of Santa Barbara who are “disgusted” by the pungent scent have reportedly complained about the issue, to no avail.
The scent is said to hail from the nearby Andrée Clark Bird Refuge — a 42-acre saltwater swamp — which is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the county.
