PREMIER LEAGUE clubs are lining up to buy Nigerian winger Akinkunmi Amoo – but they may have to wait.

Amoo, 19, is starting in Sweden for Hammarby with an impressive campaign.

But his chances of getting a work permit are slim.

And that could work against him as he bids to move in England in the next window in January.

Amoo has scored 9 goals and assisted 5 goals in 29 league appearances for the 2021 season.

He also scored four goals in seven appearances as Hammarby won Swedish Cup.

The versatile young player usually starts on the right flank on Milos Milojevic’s side.

However, he is also positioned in the center of midfield, as a No 10 and even up front.

In 2019, Amoo competed for the Nigeria U17 team in both the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup.

In total he has ten U17 caps with one goal for his country.
