PREGNANT Harry Potter star Jessie Cave has been rushed to hospital and says she feels like she’s been “hit by a ton of bricks”.
The 34-year-old actress, who is pregnant with her fourth child, said she is feeling increasingly unwell after testing positive for Covid a few weeks ago.
The star, best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter film series, shared a photo of her from her hospital bed yesterday.
She wrote: “Triage one more time…. Has anyone else had Covid in their 3rd trimester and had it hit them like a ton of bricks for weeks?”
The movie star also reached out to her fans for advice, asking, “Besides – has anyone taken the nausea medication and made it feel worse?”
It comes after Jessie shared a picture from her bed two weeks ago, in which she tells fans she has contracted Covid and is suffering from “constant nausea”.
Alongside a photo showing her looking bad, she wrote: “Coronavirus followed by Norovirus on top of the almost constant nausea throughout the pregnancy.
“But I still manage to be an absolute ray of sunshine, don’t worry.”
Worrying about the star, Jessie’s fans wrote, “Jessie I’m so sorry you’re going through this, hoping for a speedy recovery.”
Another wrote: “Oh honey. I am so sorry. As if your body didn’t have enough to do with it. Send lots of love.”
Jessie announced she was pregnant with baby number four in December.
The actress and her partner, comedian Alfie Brown, are already parents to 13-month-old Abraham, six-year-old son Donnie and four-year-old daughter Margot.
Last year, after Abraham’s arrival, Jessie admitted to fans that she went through a “terrifying” labour.
The tot had a spell in newborn intestinal care before being allowed home.
But the drama wasn’t over yet. When Abraham was just two months old, he tested positive for the coronavirus.
At the time, Jessie shared a picture of her son lying in a cot and told her Instagram followers: “I’ve seen the news about the lockdown from an isolation room at the hospital. The poor baby is positive.
“He’s okay and fine but thankfully they’re vigilant and careful.”
Abraham spent several days at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in London before being discharged.
Jessie was quick to thank the “NHS heroes” who had nursed her young son back to health.
