Cristiano Ronaldo has delivered a stirring message of encouragement to his Portuguese teammates who are trying to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar in December.

The Portugal captain wrote on Instagram: “Full focus on the 2022 World Cup. Proud as always to represent Portugal.

“We know that the path will not be easy, we have the utmost respect for the opponents we face who have the same goals as us.

“But together we will fight to put Portugal in our rightful place. Let us do this.”
