The Sun may reveal that popular brands’ POPULAR adventure calendars contain only ONE of their own chocolates.
Galaxy and Maltesers-branded seasonal countdowns contain only those flavored cakes on the last day.
In ours taste test of the popular Christmas calendar we found out that the inductors behind 23 out of 24 windows are NOT Galaxies or Maltester.
Instead, shoppers may be shocked to see just one simple milk chocolate treat per day for the foreseeable future. Christmas.
On the Galaxy’s birth calendar it says it contains “smooth milk chocolate molded shapes”.
It wasn’t until Christmas Eve that the door for December 24 revealed a larger Galaxy flavored chocolate.
The packaging for the calendar says it’s a “special Galaxy® chocolate” for Christmas Eve.
And the chocolates on the Maltesers calendar every day until the end of December are also whole milk chocolates.
It’s not until December 24 again that you get a larger chocolate flavored Maltesers.
The calendar says it features a “Maltesers® mini reindeer” along with a “milk chocolate countdown to Christmas”.
Both exploration calendars are made by Mars and cost £2 each.
Other calendars we checked with brand names include Cadbury Dairy Milk, Cadbury Heroes, and Lindt that feature named chocolates behind each door daily.
We’ve asked Mars for comment and will update when we hear back.
We previously revealed that Mars is removed the birth of its popular Celebration this year’s calendar, disappointing fans.
