WARSAW (Reuters) – Poland’s T-Mobile unit on Friday said it had faced a cyberattack but said its network was not blocked and its vital systems were not compromised. .
In a statement, the company said it faced a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack in which hackers attempted to cripple the network by flooding it with high data traffic. weirdo.
“This is the largest attack of its kind on the T-Mobile network and to our knowledge, it is also the largest direct attack on a mobile network operator in Poland,” it said.
T-Mobile also said the attack and its aftermath are being analyzed and have been reported to the relevant authorities.
