The Pokemon community thinks Game Freak could make big changes to Pokemon Centers in Scarlet & Violet.
Ever since the series started with Red & Blue in 1996, Pokemon Centers have been an important mechanic, allowing trainers to heal their mon and trade with other players.

Will Pokemon Scarlet & Violet introduce new Pokemon Centers?
gambling addict surprised gamers on February 27th by announcing that Gen 9 will be released in late 2022. Fans have since combed through the epic reveal trailer to try and find a bit of new information.
While most of the community noted that the Pokemon Centers looked different in the short clip, Twitter user “DeltaUminotami” shared an interesting theory that the mechanics could be overhauled.
“The reason the Pokémon Center is a gas station is to avoid the unnecessary hassle of entering and exiting the building,” they said. “It’s very interesting to note that the Pokemon Center in town is a gas station. I think Riding Pokemon(?) can be used in town.”

While the Pokemon Center isn’t fully visible, its design is certainly a major departure from previous iterations, and looks awfully similar to a gas station. Regardless, its open design makes it look like it could be a faster on-the-go version for healing without having to enter a building.
DeltaUminotami might be on the right track as other fans on the r/PokeLeaks forums have also noticed the new design.
“Interesting clue about this open-air Pokemon Center! Reminds me of a gas station. Might be an interesting twist on traditional PC,” wrote one gamer. Another user agreed, replying, “Yes. Its design appears to be based on the CEPSA petrol station brand.”
Since the game features a “seamless” open world, an outdoor Pokemon Center would be an interesting way to eliminate loading.
Only time will tell if fan theories are correct, as we’ll be hearing more about Pokemon Scarlet & Violet in the coming months.
