Pokemon Ed Sheeran Song ‘Celestial’ Release Date Announced

That Pokemon Ed Sheeran The song “Celestial” has been given a release date of September 29, according to the official Twitter account of the popular singer and well-known Pokémon fan. It’s coming just in time to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary. This isn’t the first time Sheeran has teamed up with Pokemon, either. In November 2021, he was in a performance for Pokemon Go singing a handful of songs from his album.

Ed Sheeran has shared some partial lyrics to the Pokemon song “Celestial”.

The announcement on Twitter is paired with an interesting black and white doodle of Ed Sheeran with a broad-faced Pikachu on his shoulder, along with a plain turquoise background. Some fans are speculating that the image means that “Celestial” will be paired with a music video or animation in the same style as the image upon release.

Those who follow Ed Sheeran on TikTok probably won’t be too surprised by the collaboration, as the artist posted a 22-second preview of the song on September 14th, which is “half of his collection,” the singer sings a brief snippet of the song’s lyrics “Celestial” while acoustically playing a guitar:

“You make me feel
As if my restless heart were a million miles away
you make me feel
Like I’m drunk on stars and we’re dancing out into space

In mid-August, Sheeran made a cameo appearance at the 2022 Pokemon World Championships in London, where leaks speculated that he created an in-game song for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. If true, this song “Celestial” could be part of the official soundtrack for the game. In any case, the song can be pre-saved or added before publishing on Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music.

In other news, a new Dragon Quest Treasures overview trailer goes into detail about the game’s base building, and Fortnite leaks are reportedly a “logistical headache” for Epic Games and the publisher is cracking down on them.
