Pierce Brosnan wasn’t convinced by Daniel Craig’s final performance as James Bond.
Craig hung up his tuxedo in 2021 after starring in his fifth 007 film. no time to diewhich has faced numerous delays due to the pandemic.
In a new profile for British GQIn the October issue of , Brosnan – who played the world’s most famous spy from 1995 to 2002 – anticipated what the interviewer would ask before they asked him: “Who would do it [next]? I do not care.”
“It will be interesting to see who they get who the man is supposed to be,” the actor added in one tone GQ said it was “maybe not really that interesting”.
“Whoever he is, I wish him the best,” Brosnan said.
Commenting on Craig’s 15-year tenure as Bond, Brosnan said: “I saw the last one and I saw it skyfall. I am in love skyfall. I’m not so sure about the last one.
“Daniel always gives his heart. Very brave, very strong. But…” he said, obviously leaving the thought unfinished.
However, in a separate GQ In a video interview, Brosnan shared his respect for Craig, saying, “I have the utmost admiration for Daniel Craig and what he has done. The physicality he brought to the performance was monumental.”

“If we cast Bond, that’s a 10-12 year commitment… Not everyone wants to do that. It was hard enough to get [Daniel Craig to do it]’ Broccoli said.
