Pete Davidson has an important message about Bob Saget and mental health

Pete Davidson shared his personal relationship with the late Bob Saget in a short statement, posted to Twitter and Instagram by “SNL” writer and comedian Dave Sirus. “Bob Saget is one of the most beautiful men on the planet,” Davidson began. “When I was a kid, and many times throughout our friendship, he helped me through some tough mental health issues. He stayed on the phone with my mom for hours trying to help. anyway – connect us to the doctor and new things we can try. He’ll check on me and make sure I’m fine.”

Davidson climaxed his statement by saying it was “an honor” to know Saget personally. The “Full House” star has a past of spiritual support for friends and fans. He had an in-depth conversation with fellow comedian, Howie Mandel, about mental health on the popular podcast “Bob Saget’s Here for You” (via Apple Podcasts). The two discussed coping strategies during difficult times, especially when their careers were precarious in the early days.
