Glastonbury is said to be Paul McCartney’s headline.
The Worthy Farm music festival returns for the first time since 2019, with the 50th anniversary in 2020 and last year’s festival both being canceled due to the pandemic.
McCartney will headline the Pyramid State alongside Billie Eilish, the festival’s most recent solo headliner, and Kendrick Lamar.
What day and what time is Paul McCartney on stage?
The former Beatle will perform on the Pyramid Stage at 9:30pm on Saturday (25 June) for an epic 2 hour and 15 minute set concluding at 11:45pm.
His set will tie into Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Haim and AJ Tracey.
This is the musician’s second headlining performance at Glastonbury, following his 2004 appearance. Speaking of that set, he said: “My best memory was the moment we walked on stage in 2004. The banners and the flags they’re all holding up, the reminded me of the Battle of Agincourt.”
McCartney, who will be 80 on June 18.
