(Reuters) – Athletes from Russia and Belarus can compete as neutrals at the upcoming Winter Olympics in Beijing, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) said on Wednesday following the invasion of Russia. Russia into Ukraine.

The IPC said in a statement: “They will compete under the Paralympic flag and will not be included in the medal tally.

The Olympics start on Friday and end on March 13.
