Orsolya Gaal’s ‘killer’ David Bonola was placed under NYPD surveillance for DAYS after leaving a bloody trail of evidence

NEW details have been revealed police had been monitoring the ‘killer’ in the Queens mother case for days and he spotted police who were following him.
David Bonola confessed Stabbing Orsolya Gaal 59 times, stuffing her body in her son’s hockey bag and dumping the bag in a park near her home in New York.
Bonola used to work for Gaal as a handyman and has reportedly had an ongoing relationship with her for the past two years.
He had been a suspect for the NYPD early in the investigation.
Officials had monitored his home for days after her death and found some evidence linking him to the crime scene, they said Daily Beast.
detectives saw a garbage truck coming to Bonola’s house on Wednesday.


According to the news outlet, detectives went through Bonola’s trash and found a number of items and clothing stained with blood.
Found a previous search Gaal’s corpse in the park along with bloody rags used to clean up the mess.
Police also found a bloody orange jacket in a hollow tree during the search, which they believe Bonola discarded after the crime.
A senior detective told the publication Bonola approached the detectives and said he noticed they followed him.
During interrogation, Bonola attempted to divert her attention to other possible suspects.
The 44-year-old agreed to go with detectives for questioning where he confessed to the murder.
Police speculate that Bonola suspected Gaal was talking to other men and went to her house to talk about it.
The two went down to the basement to talk and it was there that the crime was committed.
Gaal was married to Howard Klein, who was out of town to tour colleges with their older son.
The bag Gaal was found in was hers 13 year old son. Bonola used this item in hopes that the family would not find it.
Bonola was placed under suicide watch after his initial court appearance.
