It’s an eye nigma.
The Internet is blowing collective poetry about a mind-bending optical illusion that supposedly can only be solved by one percent of people.
The visual puzzle was the first shared Nov by TikTok personality @HecticNick – but exploding this week as millions of TikTokkers strain their eyes to envision the solution.
“Only one percent of people can read what’s hidden in this image — and you?” challenges the puzzle-provider in the clip, which racked up 3.6 million views online as of Tuesday morning.
How you process the now-viral image can reportedly reveal whether or not someone has poor vision. after the sun.
An attached screenshot shows the Rorschach ophthalmic test, which includes a series of shadowed blocks that at first glance resemble Stonehenge or alien glyphs.
To make things even harder, it only counts if you can decipher the eye roglyphs on “first try” according to the caption. Spoiler Alert! The correct answer will be revealed later in this post.
Fortunately, TikTok moderator Hectic Nick gives a helpful hint for the perpetually clueless:
“Try to close your eyes about 90 percent and you might be able to read it,” he said. “Send this to a friend and see what he does.”
In fact, after following Nick’s advice and partially closing the eyes, mystery dogs can begin to decipher the hidden phrase “Bad Eyes”.
Needless to say, the optical illusion has fooled the eyes of many TikTok gawkers.
“HOW DID I NOT UNDERSTAND IT,” said one stunned player, while another incorrectly guessed, “There it says Candice.”
Fortunately, quite a few players guessed the optical solution, presumably without cheating by looking at the comments.
“It says bad eyes,” said an eye wonder.
Another boasted that they passed the eye exam with flying colors “without doing anything”.
“HEY, I DON’T HAVE BAD EYES,” stuttered an incredulous poster, alluding to the reply’s slightly offensive message.
A TikTok optometrist suggested people could also read the message by looking at it through their charger hole.
Meanwhile, this is far from the first optical solution to have blown up on TikTok in recent times.
On Monday, Puzzle fans racked their brains as they tried to solve an intriguing butterfly picturewhich can reveal interesting facts about your brain, depending on what you see first.
In the meantime, another viral optical illusion can supposedly assess a person’s personality and life goals.
Maybe most Epic Puzzle was a silhouette revealing whether the viewer had a male or female brain, like a neurological gender reveal party.
