“ONLY one to wear an F-King mask” at the 2022 Emmys

He may not have won a trophy – but he certainly went home with the audience’s approval.

Viewers at Monday’s 2022 Emmy Awards praise comedian Bill Hader for wearing a mask during the awards show.

Hader — nominated for five Emmys for HBO’s “Barry” — sat at a table next to his co-star Henry Winkler and wore the KN95 mask, which earned him high marks for his COVID-19 prevention.

“Bill Hader (seated next to 76-year-old Henry Winkler) is practically the only person in the Emmys crowd to wear a mask.” praised a social media watchdog.

“Respects to Bill Hader for blatantly wearing masks at a high profile event,” said another tweeter interferedthan another bluntly commented: “Bill Hader was the ONLY one who wore a frigging mask. Believe me, I noticed my multiple disabilities, high risk.”

The 44-year-old actor, who previously revealed he has an autoimmune disease, received several more shouts from those in the disability community who felt represented.

Another fan added: “Bill Hader is the only celebrity to wear a mask in a room full of intense peer pressure. Let this example help you the next time you’re feeling like crazy. Strange is good.”

The Post reached out to Hader for comment.

Although the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and several states have lifted many COVID-19 restrictions, some people with disabilities still live in fear of contracting the virus.

“I thought, ‘If I get COVID, it’s going to cost a lot of money,'” Hader told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year. “And so I was very, very strict. I put myself under a lot of pressure. I just don’t like it taking up space in my brain when I have all the other stuff
s–t I try to do.”

The Saturday Night Live alum also revealed that he barely left his house from March 2020 until he was fully vaccinated in 2021, and reportedly implemented very strict COVID-19 measures while filming the final season of “Barry.” .
