On camera a child ziplining in Costa Rica collides with a slow-moving sloth clinging to a cable

It happened Sunday at Go Adventure Arenal Park in La Fortuna.
The tour guide recorded when the kid took off on the zip line.
The video then shows the child sliding into the slow-moving animal, bringing the ride to an abrupt halt.
“Don’t worry,” the tour guide said to the young adventure seeker.
“That’s a sloth,” the child said out of breath.
“Yes,” replied the tour guide.
“I just stamped it on the face,” said the kid.
Flavio Leiton Ramos, the owner of Go.Adventure Park, said the child was the last in a group of eight to leave the platform.
“So seven people went on this cable and there wasn’t a sloth on it, and within 30 seconds a sloth came on the cable,” Ramos said. “The good thing was that the child made great use of the break and, since the tour guide was with him, was able to deal with the situation. But the kid really did a great job.”
Ramos said neither the child nor the sloth were hurt.
