Sources say a man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Queens Sunday night.
The 74-year-old man was hit by a black BMW at around 7:40 p.m. at Myrtle and Seneca Avenues in Ridgewood, Queens, according to police sources.
The man, who was not identified Sunday night, was pronounced dead at the scene. The police were looking for the driver of the BMW.
In another traffic accident in the Bronx, a 4-year-old boy was killed when he fell off a scooter.
The child was riding with his father on the back of a two-wheeled scooter in Prospect Heights when a possible collision with a vehicle caused him to fall and hit his head at around 9:20 p.m
The boy was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he died.
