EL RENO, Okla. (KFOR) – An Oklahoma woman who was driving the wrong way on Interstate 40 near El Reno when she was impaired and caused a fiery crash that left four people dead, including two children, injured. sentenced to decades in prison.

Ashley Louise Ricks was sentenced to four 30-year sentences and will run concurrently, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Ricks is driving a 2017 Jeep Renegade east on the westbound lane of I-40. According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials, she had a head-on collision with a 2003 Hyundai traveling west.

The impact pushed the Jeep into a ditch, where it overturned. The Hyundai entered the median divider and caught fire while the four occupants were trapped inside.

According to OHP officials, a grandmother, mother and two children were inside the Hyundai.
