Shocking photos have emerged from an apartment fire in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where debris continued to fall as the blaze raged.

Bryan Terry, photojournalist for The Oklahoman, continued to share photos as the fire raged.

Fire crews have been battling the blaze since 6:30 p.m. local time, according to KOCO.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department Twitter account, at least part of the building collapsed at 8:25 p.m. local time.

At 8:21 p.m. local time, the fire department tweeted: “This is a hotel or an apartment building under construction.”

“It was extremely large and there was a huge amount of fire related to the roofing material.

“This is a good waterproof rubber roofing material.

“Some of the 5th floor has now joined.”

In a follow-up tweet, the fire agency said: “Firefighters are deploying large quantities of water from aerial host springs.”

“We’re going to join a battle tonight.”

No injuries have been reported.

Various media outlets are reporting that the building could be The Canton at Classen Curve, a luxury apartment complex.

The investigation is ongoing.
