Ohio State Football’s next coaching change should focus on

The Ohio State team’s number one priority after the TTUN loss was that they get a new defensive coordinator. They did it when they hire Jim Knowles. That sounds like it would be a good hire and one that Ryan Day should get a lot of credit for.

That is first training move that needs to be done. The next thing that needs to happen should be on the attacking side of the ball. Everyone saw how badly the Buckeyes were defeated against TTUN. So they need to make a change there.

Greg Studrawa really hasn’t been doing the job he needs to do in recent years. The Buckeyes have struggled to run the ball in big games and big moments. That shouldn’t be the case with all the talent they have in defence and even attack.

Stud needs to continue at this point. Ohio State needs an offensive team coach who will make the squad play harder on the scenario line. With TreVeyon Henderson being the standout again, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t run at least 150 yards per game.

The date will probably be waiting to switch to Stud in a few weeks. He might have someone in mind before the Rose Bowl, but I’d be surprised if someone was hired before that game. It is highly unlikely that the two coaches will be brought in before the regular season ends.

I’m not sure who is at the top of their list. I’m not even positive that Day is looking to make a difference in that position. What I do know is that letting Stud go elsewhere would be in the best interest of Ohio State’s football program at this point. Ohio State Football’s next coaching change should focus on
