NYPD says woman stabbed in NYC for $6,000 electronics

Two men were caught on camera stalking a woman in Soho before using a knife to rob her of $6,000 worth of electronics on Friday morning.

Shocking surveillance footage showed a suspect stalking the 25-year-old woman on Thompson Street south of Houston Street while his cohort approached her from the front with a machete around 3:30 a.m., police said.

The masked thugs then wheeled the victim into a commercial roller shutter — and snatched her purse containing a $5,940 laptop, tablet, cellphone and headphones, according to the NYPD.

One of the men wore a black tracksuit and Yankee hat, while the other wore a black jacket and red sweatpants, the video showed.

The woman, who was seen huddled in fear in the footage, was physically unharmed, police said.

The crime reportedly happened a week after an insane gunman shot at least two homeless men sleeping on the street in the fashionable neighborhood and killed one of them.
