A thug stole a purse from a 76-year-old woman last weekend and threw it on the floor in the front of an ATM at a Bronx bank, police said.
The man attacked the woman shortly after she withdrew money from a Citizens Bank ATM on East Fordham Road near Jerome Avenue around 1:40pm on Saturday, police said.
After the suspect grabbed her purse and threw it to the ground, she fled north on Jerome Avenue, the NYPD said.
He was still wanted early Thursday.
The victim suffered a laceration to the head. She was taken to St. Barnabas Medical Center by paramedics in stable condition.
