A 21-year-old man was slashed in the back of the head during an argument on a train in Brooklyn Monday morning, police said.
The victim was on a northbound J-train at the Alabama Avenue station around 6:50 a.m. and was arguing with three people when one of the trio cut him, police said.
He was taken to Interfaith Medical Center with a laceration, police officers said.
It did not appear that the victim knew his attackers, who were said to be a woman in her 30s and two men in their 40s.
No arrests were made immediately.
The incident came amid several recent attacks on the city’s subway system.
The latest victims include a woman who was dismembered during a feud with a man at the Bronx’s Fordham Road station, and an ex-cop who was dismembered by an assailant who first took him and his wife to Wall Street station in Lower Manhattan.
