“We in Serbia know what happened here in 1999, ordinary people always suffer, we have had many wars in the Balkans.

“Nevertheless, I cannot support the Wimbledon decision.

“The athletes are not to blame.

“When politics gets involved in sport, it usually doesn’t end well.”
