“No one wants to see me in a G-string”

Chris Hemsworth’s muscles are ‘wonderful’, according to co-star Christian Bale.
The Oscar-winning method actor decided not to hit the gym hard for his role as Gorr the God Butcher in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder.
The 48-year-old explained that he saw no reason to dress up because he didn’t want to compare his physique to Hemsworth’s.
“There’s no point in even training because you can’t keep up with Chris,” Bale said of the fourth installment in the superhero franchise in a recent interview with The Wrap.
Hemsworth, 38, is known for his rigorous training regimen, which made him worthy of the role of Thor, god of thunder.

Meanwhile, the Batman alum has done a different kind of transformation for his supervillain character, sporting white and gray paint and shaving his head.
Director Taika Waititi helped him prepare for the role by providing him with Thor comics starring Gorr Bale, he said during the interview – and admitted he was shocked by the god’s revealing attire.
“I peeked in and said, ‘He’s wearing a g-string. Nobody wants to see me like that,’” Bale teased. “Also in the comics he was incredibly muscular. And I was about to do another film where I was really, really skinny. Dude, nobody wants to see me in a g-string.”

The Australian actor ate eight meals a day preparing for the role and trained with Luke Zocchi and stuntman Bobby Holland Hanton. They shared with Page Six what it took to get the Rush star in shape for Thor: Love and Thunder.
“Chris takes it very, very seriously and the shape he’s getting into is phenomenal,” revealed Hanton. “There is a real process leading to the achievement of these goals. But I think over the last 10 years we’ve managed to find ways to do that.”
Zocchi explained that Hemsworth’s body comes down to “consistency, hard work and also eating the right foods.”
