Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has offered to rent a house for refugees from Ukraine fleeing the deadly Russian invasion.

The Dutchman is set to return to Old Trafford in the summer with three years left on the run Red Devil Contract.
Toffees teammate Vitaliy Mykolenko narrated UA tribunal the generous offer from Van de Beek.
The Ukrainian said: “Donny van de Beeka world-class player, comes up to me and says: “I want to rent a house for people, whether in the Netherlands or in Poland.
‘We take them from the border, do them, pay for them’”.
Mykolenko joined from Dynamo Kyiv in January and has played six games including the FA Cup fifth round draw against Boreham Wood where he was promoted to captain.
He has played 21 games for his country and is “grateful” for all the support he has received at the Merseyside club since the start of the devastating war.

“On the second day, the head coach came and said, ‘If you need a break, if you need time, take your time’. I am grateful to the association for the support from all sides.
“The equipment administrator said, ‘I know your situation. I understand how difficult it is for you. Come and join us for dinner.’
“A physical therapist came and said, ‘I have a room, a bed for two. Those who have nowhere to live, we are ready to accommodate them’. I’m pleasantly shocked. To be honest, I’m shocked.”
