Nintendo adds five more Sega Genesis games to its Online Switch Expansion Pack

The Nintendo Switch Online Series + Expansion Packs Sega Genesis game has just developed five more titles. Nintendo added The Beast Is Transformed, ToeJam & Earl, Dynamite Headdy, Sword of Vermilion and Lightning Force II to the library.

Nintendo launched a higher tier of its Switch Online service in October, adding Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis (and Sega Genesis) games. Animal Crossing: New Horizons DLC) for existing offerings of NES and SNES titles, as well as cloud storage for data savings and the option to play multiplayer games online. However, Nintendo charges a premium for the Expansion Pack. It costs $50 per year or $80 for the family plan, compared to $20 per year for the regular Switch Online service.

Immediately after Online Conversion + Expansion Pack launched, players raised some issues they’ve got with service, such as exotic control mapping for N64 games on standard controllers and iffy emulation quality. Others claim that they lost their save data and ran into problems.

However, Nintendo is continuing to strengthen its lineup of Expansion Pack titles. It added the classic N64 Paper Mario earlier this month, while Banjo-Kazooie will arrive in January.
