NFL owners could oust Dan Snyder: ‘Votes count’

The walls seem to be closing in on Daniel Snyder.
The other NFL owners are starting to tire of his act. According to USA TODAY, they are “counting votes,” an indication of the potential to get Snyder to sell the Washington Commanders.
That would take 24 votes, and Snyder would no doubt fight that. He is currently under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Virginia Attorney General after an investigation by the Congressional Committee uncovered allegations of financial irregularities.
“There is growing frustration with the situation in Washington and not with an issue but with how much smoke there is,” an NFL team owner told USA TODAY Sports. “I think everyone will get tired of it.”

Snyder has maintained his innocence throughout. Still, he relinquished day-to-day control of the franchise to his wife Tanya amid allegations of a toxic workplace — including allegations of sexual harassment — and will not be attending NFL owners’ gatherings in Atlanta this week. One report said the Commanders hid money from the rest of the League by using two different accounting systems.
“If that happened, I think that’s the nail in the coffin,” said a second owner.
