NEWCASTLE takes aim at winger Ismaila Sarr.
The Senegalese star is sure to leave Watford even if they stay up.
Sarr, 24, joined the Hornets from French club Rennes in 2019 for a club-record £30million, meaning Newcastle can expect to pay more.
He has two years left on contract but even at £35m it would be a good deal for Newcastle.
Liverpool have also sent scouts to watch the winger.
Sarr has scored five Premier League goals for the struggling Watford this season, including one 4-1 against Manchester United in November.
He also bagged the equalizer The Hornets’ 1-1 draw with Toon in September.
Meanwhile, Spanish club Villarreal Sarrs could sign team-mate Emmanuel Dennis for around £25m.
The striker should also leave in the summer.
Dennis, also 24, is the club’s top scorer with nine goals.
If they suffer relegation, the Hornets will also let players like Ben Foster and Tom Cleverley move on to lower their payroll costs.
Watford are three points behind Everton in 18th place but have played two more games.
