Human bones were found Friday afternoon along Hutchinson Parkway in the Bronx, police said.
A construction crew made the grisly discovery around 12:30 p.m. in a wooded area near the northbound Orchard Beach/City Island exit, the NYPD said.
According to footage, several officers were looking for evidence at the site of the gruesome find on Friday night Shot from News 12.
The possible crime scene had been cordoned off with a blue tarp and floodlit, footage showed.
The remains were sent to the coroner for examination, police said.
