Hamilton37, asked by 14-year-old Alex Powell how to inspire budding kids in other parts of the world.

“I’m from the Caribbean and that’s where I started my go-kart career,” says Powell.

“In my limited capacity, I try to encourage others from the Caribbean to achieve their goals.

“But given your experience as a seven-time world champion, what advice would you give them?”

Hamilton replied: “First, I think, I commend you for that, and I think it’s really just believing in yourself.

“If you have a goal, if you have ambition, never lose sight of it and stay focused.
