Mother of two found stabbed to death in London after failing to pick up sons from primary school

A mother has been found stabbed to death at home after failing to pick up her two sons from school, horrified neighbors say.
The woman, whose name was not released, was spotted at the home in Bethnal Green, east London, around 4.05pm yesterday.
No arrests were made and her death is being treated as suspicious.
Neighbors say two teachers sounded the alarm when she failed to pick up her two young sons, who are in fifth grade, from elementary school.
A 67-year-old local said: “I know she was supposed to pick up her children, two boys, from the local school but didn’t come, so they sounded the alarm.
“The two teachers came here with the officers when they smashed through the door.

“She has lived here for 10 years.
“She was a nice woman and we never had any problems.
“I know she had a partner and an ex-partner who visited her sometimes.
“We are totally shocked because something like this doesn’t happen here.”
Another neighbor, 44, said: “I heard something in the afternoon, maybe around 2pm, I heard a male voice saying, ‘You’re not coming in, you’re not coming in’
“I don’t know what happened or if it was related.
“I heard screams, I heard screams, but that’s normal around here.
“But the next thing I know, the door was smashed down by police later that day.”
Police confirmed the victim was pronounced dead at the scene after being found with stab wounds.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being assisted by officials.
The Met added: “The death is being treated as suspicious and detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have been informed.

“The investigation is ongoing and one crime scene remains. No arrests were made at this early stage of the investigation.”
Anyone with information can call the police on 101.
