Moon Knight director ‘knows nothing’ about possible second season

moon knight has captured the attention of audiences around the world, and the Marvel Disney+ series keeps getting more exciting with each new installment. Unfortunately, the Marvel Cinematic Universe show will likely end after Episode 6 premieres. according to a moon knight directora theoretical season 2 is currently not in the works.
Moon Knight director Mohamed Diab denies knowing about a second season
During an interview with colliders, moon knight Director Mohamed Diab, who directed episodes 1, 3, 5 and 6, spoke about the future of the series.
“I want to let you in [on] a secret,” Diab began. “Marvel is so mysterious that your experience is my experience. I do not know anything. And sometimes you wonder, ‘Did I do a bad job?’ But I think that’s how they do it. Thank god they love the show. They express how much they love the show every day, but it’s not like any other show, that is, the other show, outside of the Marvel Universe.”
He continued, “That means any TV series, if it’s good, you know you’re going to get a second season, but one WandaVision was great. And you didn’t get a second season. You went to something else. I am absolutely sure of that [is] that moon knight stays for a long time in my opinion. This is just a prediction.”
“He’s so interesting I think he’ll stay, but what’s going to happen next?” Diab considered. “He will be [on] another season? Will it be a movie? Is he [joining] someone else? My guess is yours.”
Many fans and critics considered WandaVision as one of the best TV shows of 2021. However, it is a limited series and will not be continued. But Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is coming soon Doctor Strange Consequence. So Oscar Isaac is still allowed to play Moon Knight in the MCU, even if there isn’t one moon knight Season 2.

Mohamed Diab believes Moon Knight has a bright future in the MCU even if there is no second season
In front moon knight Premiered on Disney+, Mohamed Diab spoke SFX Magazine about the future of the superhero in the MCU.
“I can tell you with certainty that I can see him in the next 10 years, not just in the next movie,” Diab shared. “He’s a very interesting character. He’s probably the most interesting character any actor can play. Oscar is doing a great job. People already like him, even from the trailer. I think the show will resonate with people, so I can see him staying for a long time.”
Knowing that fans have only fallen even more in love with Oscar Isaac’s portrayal of the superhero afterward moon knightpremiere, it’s safe to say that Diab’s assumptions will prove to be correct. Even if there is none moon knight season 2Steven Grant and Marc Spector aren’t likely to be leaving the MCU anytime soon.
The director reveals he was surprised Marvel let the series stand on its own in the MCU
While speaking with Collider, Mohamed Diab praised Marvel for letting him explore new territory moon knight.
“I wanted to push it,” the director revealed. “I usually wanted something like that [they] I wouldn’t think they want that, meaning I wanted it to look and feel different than any other MCU project, which it eventually does. And today, you could say, some people keep telling me that if there wasn’t a Marvel logo at the beginning of Episode 1, you wouldn’t necessarily know that this was a Marvel series, which I’m proud of.”
Diab added: “And I’m proud of how we scrapped the idea of crossovers and we didn’t have a need [for] Crutches. We stood on our own two feet, and the project… Maybe it’s more of a surprise than a crossover that we can stand on our own two feet.”
While Marvel hasn’t announced any crossovers between Moon Knight and the MCU, we’re confident they will happen. Maybe a midnight sons Project in the works that will include Oscar Isaac as the Moon Knight.
