LOVE Island star Molly-Mae Hague has revealed the incredible amount she spends on security, as she can’t “put a price on safety”.
The 22-year-old influencer was devastated in October when thieves broke in and stole £800,000 worth of designer goods, laptops and shoes.
The reality TV star took to her YouTube channel to discuss the horrific robbery, as she revealed she had invested thousands of pounds in security.
Molly-Mae opened up to fans in the new video, who asked her if she had “security everywhere she went” after the break-in.
She revealed that she spent “thousands upon thousands of pounds on security” to ensure the safety of herself and Tommy Fury’s descendants.
“Security is something we have to take a lot more seriously, to the point where I am spending thousands of thousands of pounds a month getting the right security in place,” Molly-Mae reveals.
“At the end of the day, I don’t think I can put a price on feeling secure.”
“I’ve never really known how to honestly talk about it, because I feel like it’s something people can answer with, ‘Who does she think she is’.
“It’s really for no other reason than it makes me feel safer and after what happened, it’s just what makes me feel better.”
Despite telling fans she was nervous posting pictures of her house after the theft, the Love Island star gave her followers another look at her possessions in the video.
The star was seen sitting in the new living space with plush gray rugs and a giant velvet sofa with heaps of matching cushions.
A Buddha statue and a bronze lamp can be seen in front of their large windows that let in plenty of light.
And other elegant sculptures sit on a mahogany shelf next to the couple’s media unit, where a large TV is mounted on the wall.
Molly and Tommy have since moved to a mysterious location after the theft, and she implying that they have bought their dream home.
In the new YouTube In the video, the 22-year-old answers fan questions and opens up about how the theft has “100% changed” her spending habits.
Molly said: “It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately and the answer to that question is 100% yes.
“My opinion can’t be changed if they try. It’s clear that there are good things that can mean anything other than the jewelry I used to buy, the watches, the beautiful bags, the clothes and the real stuff. expensive.
“I think most definitely, definitely the interest in me has disappeared
since the robbery,” she continued.
“…Why would I want to own something that could compromise my and Tommy’s safety. It’s completely not worth it in my eyes and my opinion has definitely changed.
‘In my eyes, the only watch I need at the moment, I’m not even joking, is my Apple Watch,’ she added before picking up her £179 watch .
In the video, Molly is still wearing a turtleneck long-sleeve bodysuit by American designer Alexander Wang, which retails online for £285.
