Angry Twitch viewers claim Ludwig’s Streamer Award win was ‘rigged’

During the pre-red carpet show, many streamers attending the event predicted that Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel would take home the ultimate prize. Ludwig himself made the prediction, jokingly saying he only had a 2% chance.

Ahgren was stunned as the ceremony ended with him winning the popular Canadian streamer for Streamer of the Year. It seems he wasn’t the only one surprised when a flood of Twitch viewers took to social media to express their shock. Some users even claimed the event was “rigged”.

Responding to the backlash on social media, Mizkif immediately slammed critics. “Very deserved. Fuck the people who say you don’t deserve this. You work harder than anyone I know,” the streamer tweeted.

After Ludwig’s win, angry viewers took to the social media page to voice their criticism. “I would understand if it was March Streamer of the Month, but that was rigged,” wrote one viewer.

Another comment exclaimed, “You don’t deserve this trophy, xQc literally caters to you for everything.”

Other Twitch viewers explained why they think xQc should have won instead. “Not to say Ludwig doesn’t deserve it but for the amount of consistency, dedication and content xQc gives and yet he hasn’t won a single award for it is really lame to be honest,” one fan tweeted .

While there was a flood of angry onlookers criticizing Ludwig’s victory, not everyone felt the same way. Many viewers defended his win, citing his record-breaking 2021 subathon and move to YouTube.

Criticisms aside, Ahgren has been one of the most popular channels on Twitch. And based on his Streamer Awards win, the 26-year-old content creator has a very dedicated fan base. Mizkif slams Twitch viewers who claim Ludwig’s Streamer Awards win over xQc was “rigged”.
