Missing man Taylor Young’s body was found in the trunk of a Dallas truck weeks after going missing, Houston police say.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Nearly eight weeks after Taylor Young, 25, went missing, Houston police say his body has been found in Dallas.

Young was last seen on December 9, 2021, while running errands during his lunch break in the South Voss and San Felipe areas. On Monday, Houston police said Young’s body was discovered January 19 in the trunk of his car at a Dallas parking lot.

Dallas police told Eyewitness News that the vehicle Young found was towed January 10 from a business parking lot on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas. On January 19, officials at the detention facility contacted police, where officers made a gruesome find.

Police added that Young’s body was in a state of severe decomposition. At this time, an investigation into his death is still ongoing.
