When Starbucks go out with them Eggnog Latte, I know the holiday season is here! If you know me from all my others Starbucks’ imitation recipeYou know I’m all about saving money. Plus, why waste time waiting in line when you can enjoy one of Starbucks’ delicious drinks at home?

Fun fact: Starbucks’ launched their Eggnog Latte in 1986 and it was so popular around the holidays that they still serve this hot latte to this day. Although I recently read that some states have taken it off the menu, that’s even more reason to try it at home!

You can easily make your own Eggnog Latte with just four ingredients—five if you top it off with whipped cream—and it will taste just like the original. So I hope you all enjoy my latest Starbucks mimic recipe. We love it around my house and what’s more perfect for the holidays than a eggnog drink?!

Direction

  1. Prepare espresso or coffee. Keep hot.

  2. Heat the eggs and milk in the microwave in a measuring cup or microwave-safe jar. I heated the milk for about 45 seconds. Checked and reset in another 30 seconds. Then I covered the mixture over a mason jar and shook it for about 20 seconds. When you open the lid, the mixture will foam.

  3. Pour hot coffee or espresso into the cup. Now, pour the mixture over the coffee. No stirring required.

  4. Add whipped cream on top and sprinkle with nutmeg. Even if you’re not using whipped cream, add nutmeg on top of hot drinks. That’s it! Interesting!!
