Mets reliever Trevor Williams is putting up two scoreless innings

Here are some notable nuggets that happened during Tuesday’s Mets spring training action:
Trevor time
Trevor Williams scored two innings of scoreless relief in the Mets’ 2-0 exhibition win over the Astros at Clover Park. The right-handed debuted this spring.
left gaze
Rob Zastryzny, a left aide at camp on a minor league deal, hit the side in the ninth for the save. The Mets are looking for a left bullpen option without a proven veteran for the spot.
I noticed
Jeff McNeil started at DH and allowed Robinson Cano to tack at second base. Manager Buck Showalter is planning a lot of flexibility with Cano and McNeil between the two spots. In McNeil’s case, the flexibility could include occasional field service.
The schedule for Wednesday
The Mets will have a day of camp at Clover Park before resuming Grapefruit League action Thursday night. Chris Bassitt and Carlos Carrasco are expected to face off against the Marlins in Port St. Lucie.
