Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales PC release window revealed

A new teaser trailer has shown (well, actually confirmed) that the Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales PC The release window will be Fall 2022. The PC version of the game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. No price has been given, but considering Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is priced at the full $59.99 right now, that will likely be the same price for the sequel. The PC release coming so soon comes as a bit of a surprise given that Spider-Man Remastered only released last month on August 12th.

What to expect from Miles Morales PC graphics settings

The 30-second teaser posted above doesn’t give much away as to what new graphical options we might see for Miles Morales’ PC port. But we do know that Nixxes Software, a Dutch software company owned by PlayStation Studios, is responsible for the project and is again teaming up with Insomniac Games, as was the case with Spider-Man Remastered. Granted, the PC version of Miles Morales probably won’t need as much graphical improvement as its predecessor, given that the game came out on PS5 in November 2020.

However, if Spider-Man Remastered’s PC port is anything, we should see new options for ultra-wide aspect ratios, settings for ray tracing and an unlocked framerate, Nvidia DLSS, DLAA and other upscaling solutions like AMD FSR 2.0. Recommended options for Ultimate Ray Tracing for Spider-Man Remastered on PC that will allow you to run it in 4K at 60 fps include an RTX 3080 or RX 6950 XT GPU, an Intel Core i7-12700K, or AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor and 32GB RAM. So if you want to play Miles Morales at peak performance on PC, your rig needs to be in the same area.

As reported on our sister site PlayStation LifeStyle, Spider-Man Remastered ranked third in the NPD’s top 20 video games for August 2022 by US dollar sales. In comparison, the game was ranked 84th in September 2022, showing just how resilient the market is for pristine PlayStation-exclusive PC ports.

In other news, the release date for the Pokemon Ed Sheeran song “Celestial” has been announced and Steam Deck production is set to increase, but orders in Canada have been hit with a snag. Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales PC release window revealed
