Sally Dynevor lifts the lid on the secret Corrie Dancing On Ice WhatsApp group

SALLY Dynevor has revealed that she turned to her Coronation Street co-stars for advice about her upcoming time on Dancing on Ice.

58 years old will be participating in the new ITV competition series – following in the footsteps of many of her Corrie colleagues.

People who have been on the ice in the past include Samia Longchambon, Jane Danson and Brooke Vincent, which means she has plenty of people around to share advice with.

Speaking to The Sun, Sally said: “Samia [Longchambon], Jane [Danson], Lisa [George], Antony [Cotton] and Andy [Whyment] All of them have done well in the program. I was so proud of them because it was hard.

“I started a WhatsApp group ‘Corrie Dancing On Ice’. They are very successful and really encouraging.

“I need their support and give me advice on how they cope. It’s interesting to hear all their stories and what they’ve been through, because I’m going through the same thing. “About: blank”

Sally – who stars on the ITV show as Sally Metcalfe – also revealed that she signed up for Dancing on Ice after lockdown taught her that life is too short.

She said: “My youngest daughter Hattie and I have been watching Dancing On Ice for many years. She kept saying, ‘You should do it, mom.’ And I thought: ‘Yes, if I don’t do it now, I never will.’ “
